Directions
Capture the essence of autumn in this warm and cozy drink! A spice apple syrup is used to impart the rich taste of apple pie, and Saltwinds Summer Squall Espresso adds the perfect caffeinated kick. Top with hot milk and, for a treat, add a squirt of whipped cream and drizzle of maple syrup. Autumn in a glass!
Note: We like to use pure apple syrup for this recipe, like this one from Coburn’s (https://www.coburnfarms.ca/apple-syrups/). Can’t find apple syrup? You can make your own by simmering chopped apples with a bit of water and brown sugar until soft, and then straining.

Pull your espresso shotPlace the apple syrup in a serving glass and pour your prepared espresso shot straight into the glass. Stir briefly to dissolve the apple syrup |

Add the milkWith the glass at an angle, slowly pour in the frothed milk - create some latte art on top if you feel ambitious! |
